Here are our top ideas on easy ways to boost your immune system.

Chicken soup in particular has always been a trademark when feeling unwell, but don't wait until then to reap the benefits. Chicken soup clears nasal congestion, has an anti-inflammatory effect, is soothing to the throat, it is rich in protein, and it provides the body with Vitamins A and C and with antioxidants to boost the system.

Drink each morning as an alternative to coffee, or better yet: keep it on hand to sip on throughout the day. It's going to benefit your system to keep warmth traveling inside and stimulating. Seems obvious when it's so cold out, but really - bundle, bundle, bundle up! When the temperature drops your body has to work harder to keep not just comfortable but also functioning on little levels. If it's working overtime to heat up it can't focus on building strength to fight off viruses. Help your body out: wear a scarf, and extra sweater, mittens, a hat, keep your hair down to cover your ears and neck, use boot socks to insulate, and sip on a warm drink all day - even if it's simply warm water.
